LitSpace · files & sharing

Every matter’s files, in LitSpace.

The whole team and the Matter Agent share one file tree in LitSpace, where they store pleadings, court orders, discovery, productions, correspondence, depositions, and work product for each matter. When the Matter Agent delivers a draft, LitSpace places that draft next to the cited record.

Open any file wherever you are.

Word documents, spreadsheets, and PDFs open in the browser, with full-text search across the matter’s files.

Lawyers can share a file or a whole production outside the firm under a password or a one-time email code, with an expiry date. They can send original files or watermarked copies that stamp each recipient’s identity on every page. They can attach Bates numbering or continue a prior production’s range and then find the volume on the matter’s Productions page afterward. Outside recipients read free, with no seat, license, or account required.

A private folder in every matter.

Each user carries a private Home folder per matter, for notes and drafts not ready to share. Litco enforces access control on every read and every write, including reads and writes by the Matter Agent.

The Matter Agent works in your files.

The Matter Agent fetches any file a lawyer asks for and reads any folder the lawyer asks about. Lawyers get real Word documents, filed where the team expects to find them.
